Stay There

Today we want to consider a verse of the Scripture which open our eyes to a major truth which many people are falling off today. It’s the modern day disease in Christendom. Almost everyone is catching this disease irrespective of the years in church and position. I think its worse with those who have stayed long enough in the church.
Today, almost everyone if not all calls him/herself a prophet. The question is; are you called as a prophet? Check the Scripture below in Ephesians 4:11

Ephesians 4:11
[11]And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

Notice the word “some” before each of the five fold ministry. There are only five ministries according to the Bible. You can only function in what you’re called to do. And in each of these ministry gifts, God only gave some not all of us each of the ministry gifts. You may be lucky to get one or more. But don’t ever install yourself into an office you’re not called into.
I understand this is an era of visions, people are running here and there to get visions but that doesn’t make you a prophet still. If you’re not called to be a Teacher don’t go and teach outside the Scripture.
A basic fact is that, you cannot succeed in what you’re not called to do. Your success is only programmed into your call.
It is to be noted that ministry gifts are not titles, they are work. I am aware that that some are taking apostle as a title. Lord, have mercy! When I hear things like this, it looks to me that someone is out of course and no longer running the race of faith. The race of faith is so meticulous that even the one you have, you have not yet gotten a good remark for it let alone of adding to it.
Heb 12:1 advice that you run the race patiently so that things like this will not creep in unaware. Dear readers, take a moment or two to evaluate your Christian race. Are you running where God wants you to run? If not make amends today, return back to Christ for a recommissioning. God bless you as you do in Jesus name.

Before 2016 is taken away

KJV:Take with you words, and turn to the Lord: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips. Hosea 14:2

Good morning my dearest readers,
Yesterday, we looked at turning unto the lord with few words. Today, we are still to turn unto the lord with few words. 2016 will go off in less than 24hrs. What is that thing that you wished you had or that thing that you ought to have had in 2016 but you are yet to have? If you can pray there Angels dispatched for this specific mission seeking to here people cry for their overdue blessing in 2016.
Take note of this verses;
9 KJV:And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.
10 KJV:And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so.
2 King 2:9-10
As Elijah said to Elisha so also I say unto you, ask what the lord will do for you before 2016 will be taken away from you. Great things cam still happen if you believe. It doesn’t take God to many days to change the story of a man, he can do that in seconds. Here is your opportunity, ask what you want before 2016 ends. Luke 1:37 says with God nothing shall be impossible. What you want might be difficult for men or by human calculation but not with God.
Take with you your words of petition for angels are on assignment to bless, do not waste this opportunity. I am an advocate of Heaven to announce to you the arrival of end well miracles but you must ask. If you ask you will receive, so pray like you mean it.
Go and see the hand of El-shaddai as you ask in Jesus name.
See you in 2017.

Take a word with you

KJV:Take with you words, and turn to the Lord: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips. Hosea 14:2

Good morning my dearest readers,
I am more than glad to have you read this as God ordained it to be so. Glory be to the king of kings for such a wonderful grace. From the beginning of this year, 2016 Its being with several happenings and all forms of satanic operations but Jesus has being there for you and I in spite of our wrongs and doings.
At a time like this, can you turn to the lord and take few words to Him. Even if you have left God a long time ago but in these few hours to end 2016, can you turn to the lord.
Say unto the lord, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips. Interestingly, Jesus awaits you, for Jesus longs tp do so many things in your life but your abstinence from Him has created so much distance and blotted you out of His plans for you. But since Jesus made you and has the master plan for your success, its quite impossible for you to be successful without Jesus at the center of your life. If you make Jesus a part of your life, your life will be wrecked, Jesus has to be at the center of your life.
If you go to church once in a while, you’ve not even had Jesus. If you are Christian but only do what’s convenient for you, Jesus is not yet at the center of your life. I don’t know how you have lived 2016, it may even be worse. The word of the lord is coming to you today to turn to Him in this few hours to end 2016. Don’t end 2016 in crisis because a life without christ is crisis.

Take into account to Him all your sins before Him. Proverb 28:13 says if you confess your sins, you have mercy and if not you will not prosper. Confessing your sins mean that you have to list them out and be sorry for them. With a heart felt promise not to go back. This is what you need to do to gain God’s mercy. Remember Isaiah 59:1-2, its only your sins that can put God off your so much that He can’t even hear you.

So I beseech you today as prophet Hosea said, Take with you words, and turn to the Lord: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips. He is more than glad to hear you.

Back to Godly Ministries

I read through an article. The article contains names of ministries and themes for programs and it saddens my heart to see such. I am saddened because looking at those ministries and themes, I wonder what is happening in Christianity. What messages are on the pulpit and if Pastors are actually running with any vision? Here is a page of the news, https://www.naij.com/862243-see-nigerian-churches-need-run-away-photos.html?source=index_shared

Today, Pastors no longer have programs to teach the Gospel truth. It’s always about battles, money, promotion etc. When will the congregation become spiritually matured? I just wonder what’s going on these days? The reason apostles of old invited people for services were different from that of today.

In 1 John 1:1-3 we can see why John invited people those days. John invited people because he had the word, he has seen the word, lived with the word and had felt it with his hands. Today, how many preacher have gotten to that level in the spirit? Maybe those ministries are questionable but as far as you are called its your responsibility to keep things in order. That’s what Paul told Titus and I receive grace from God to tell you too. Its time teach the truth beyond telling the truth.

A starter’s guide on personal finance

Personal finance is something everyone ought to get acquitted with. Many would have become wrecked due to bad financial management. Life may give you an opportunity to make it real big but if not well managed, such a person may end up becoming poorer. What’s important is not the amount that comes in but how well do you manage what you make.

In my experience, I have seen some of the things that often affect people’s finance or let me say why people lose so much money without knowing it. Interestingly, these are things many of us overlook. I shared one of these things with someone and he objected that it’s quite insignificant for such to affect anyone’s finance. I had to tell him how much I saved the moment I practiced it. Here are the few things to check but not all;

Keep a financial record

That sound simple and many may feel it cannot add anything to your purse. In 2013, I practiced this, I kept my financial record. I tracked all my gift (both given and received), expenses and income. Even things that were given to me, I quantify it with the price in my record. At the end of first month, I discovered what I was spending so much on that was of little importance. With this knowledge I was able to save 15% of my expenses the following month. Would you not like save up to that too? Just try it.

Create a Budget

Lot of people live without budget and that’s not too good. You don’t need any technical knowledge to do that if you think you need it. Start with a two line budget; one for income and the other for expenditure. Write out what your expected income with their sources and what you want to do with money (expenditure). Your expenditure should not be more than your income to be on the safer side. If that happens you have a deficit budget but if it’s the other way round, it’s a surplus budget. The goal here is to prevent deficit budget. From here you would find the way to balance your expenses. Your surplus budget should be directed into your savings.

Borrow/rent when you can.

You may not necessarily have to buy everything you need; in fact you don’t need to buy all. If its once in a while thing and the cost of buying it is high or may affect your finance, you may simply borrow or rent it for the time you need it. That should save you some money.

Spend what you have, not what you hope to make.

While buying things, be wise. Don’t buy things on credit expecting someone to pay you. What if he fails, it means you simply walk into debt. Debt is not too friendly especially bad debt. Only spend money you have in your account/hands not the work you hope to do someday or payment someone will do sometimes later. Be careful, its not easy to come out debt sometimes.

Understand debts.

Debt is what you owe someone with a promise to pay later. It is believed that debt is bad but that’s not 100% true. There are good debts and bad debts. For your debts to be good or bad depends on you. To achieve a good debt, you need to take calculated risk.  That is, don’t borrow to do something that’s not a capital project. Such project should be able to bring back such debt. And apart from the project’s return over investment, you should have another source to pay for the debt.

These few advice are not all you need for a well managed personal finance but its a good starting point for anyone and a quick reminder for experts.

Falsehood in the Body of Christ

Few days ago, I posted an article titled “when prayer fails” which can be access via this link https://adeyemibello.wordpress.com/2016/10/30/when-prayer-fails/ I got a response from a Brother whom I respect so much but I could not imagine that such response would come from anyone. It grieved my heart even as I write now to personally identify that Satan has hit the church with so much falsehood. I have heard Apostle Arome talked about this but it has never been so real to me until a Brother told me that sin doesn’t separate us from God and that sin cannot stop God from answering our prayer. He said that happened in the Old Testament that we are living in grace in new testament. I can’t believe a Christian Brother is a saying this. I am tempted to ask, what is happening to the sermons preached on the pulpit? Where are the Apostles and Teachers? Or are his statements right? May be I am wrong.

Dear Pastor, I am sorry if it sounded somehow, I can’t but ask “what are you preaching on the pulpit? Are you just preaching prosperity, blessing, seed sowing etc? People of God needs to know the fundamental truths. That’s why you were called. Paul establishes this fact in 1 Cor 1:17 and further taught Titus in Titus 2:1. That’s the commission. If all pulpit preaches the truth, there will be no space for falsehood. Its time all preachers of the Gospel rise to the challenge. we need to restore the truth. Please check your message and check your stand in Christ. Standing before people of God with words with Biblical reference is not all that is needed at a time like this but messages that will reach the heart of God, fulfilling kingdom purpose and bringing people back to kingdom perspective. Let God preach to you before you preach to the congregation. That’s how true messages comes, that’s where the sequence of scriptures comes from and that’s how powerful messages comes.

In response to the Brother’s statements, I responded with what I believe the scripture says. Isaiah 59:1-2 explains that God is not weak to rescue us, it is sin that separate us from God making it hard for God to hear us. Apostle Paul in Romans 6:1-2 says we cannot continue in sin and expect that grace will abound, he says God forbid. I don’t know where such Gospel came from that sin cannot stop God from answering our prayer and that sin cannot separate us from God. These are false witnesses in this end time. If you hear any man of God preach such, please flee. That’s not the kind of Gospel Paul preached. You will recall that in Matthew 27:46, Jesus cried out in agony asking why God forsook him at such a crucial time of pain. The answer is simple, he bore the sin of mankind at that time and God cannot behold sin. If God could forsake His son because he carried the sin of mankind in a bid to bring man back to God- the sins he didn’t commit in the first place- how much more sins that we commit by ourselves.
My advice is simple, strife to be like Jesus. Jesus is the pattern son meaning we all are to be like Him. Jesus was without sin so lets strife to live holy. Any message or Pastor who preaches outside being like Jesus is not of God and is not worth listening to. Jesus strife to be like the Father and He gave us the same commission in John 5:48 which means in a bid to be like Jesus, we will reflect God’s personality because Jesus says He and the Father are one (John 10:30)

When Prayer fails

Prayer is an act of communicating with God. it is communication because when you communicate with God truly, He often respond. Although, for many the response is really the issue. When people pray God either give one answer among the three possible answers. God could be saying wait, silent or approval of the petition. Prayer is never wasted whether God is silent or saying wait on the matter. A man of God once told me that prayer can never be too much, it can only be inadequate.
There are a few reasons why prayer may not produce the wanted result. I must emphasize that prayer doesn’t fail but the person offering it fails. So, if you pray and the result is not forthcoming, you will need to check yourself. For God to hear your prayer which is the first step before answering it, you need to be upright with God. Prophet Isaiah summarized that in Isaiah 59:1-3. God is always on the spot but our sins often moves us from the spot because God cannot behold sin.
If you have lost divine presence or you feel your prayers are not answered. You need to run a scan of your life. If you have these eight things in your life, just note that your prayers are not heard let alone of being answered. Every time you partake in anyone of them, you bring separation between you and God which is often invitation to Satan to operate in your life. Your life can’t be without a leader, it is either God is in charge or Satan. There is no vacuum in the spirit.
Disobedient: In actual fact, the last time you hear from God is the last time you were obedient. Once you moved out of obedience, His words, answers and guidance will shot down. That happened to Abraham and King Saul.
Secret sins: I love the way the Psalmist says this in Psalm 66:18. You may hide your sin from Pastor but it cannot be kept from God. That’s the problem.
Neglect of mercy: Proverb 21:13 says if you are not merciful to the poor and needy, you won’t find mercy as well. Just be merciful. There is always someone you can help with something.
Blood guiltiness: Isaiah 1:15 spoke God’s mind on this, “If blood is in you hand, God will not hear you”. If you killed or assisted someone to kill people in whatever way, your hands are stained with blood, therefore God can not hear you. Repent so that you may be forgiven and refreshing time can come from God.
Neglect of Precept: If you neglect God’s precept, even your prayer will become an abomination. Check Proverb 28:9.
Instability: when you pray about anything, do not doubt the Lord’s answer. James 1:6-7 explains that such man cannot receive anything from God.
Asking in lust: when you pray for the wrong reasons, God will not grant it. If you pray so that you can oppress, show off or to damage other people’s life/possession, God won’t answer. James 4:3
Stubbornness: When you become stubborn towards God, God will not hear you. Zechariah 7:12-13 explains that people will not be heard because they didn’t hear the Prophet of God.

With this we can establish that it is not really the prayer that fails but the person offering the prayer. The strength of any prayer is much on the person offering the prayer. God is only oblige to answer the prayer offered by man of right standing. Your right standing with God serves as the wing on which your prayers are piloted to the heavens for answer. Did you read about Elijah that called down fire but he said something worth considering. He said ”…before God whom I stand….”. May I ask, before whom do you stand?

Recounting Paul and Silas Experience

It is easy to speak on the Paul and Silas experience to glorify God and talk about His wonders. Many times, few preachers speak on the persons involved and very few preachers remember to talk about the situation at hand. The situation is as important as the people involved and God’s response to the input of the people.

In my opinion, I think God’s response in such a powerful manner was based on the situation and input of Paul and Silas. Roman prisons were not places of pleasure or comfort. They were extremely wicked places to be at that time. Offenders are normally stripped before been flogged disdainfully and their legs tired with iron. Research has it that their blood soaked clothes were never changed coupled with lack of water and toilet smell. That’s better imagined! And for Paul and Silas, it was worse because they were placed in the inner cell.

In a situation like this, the men started praising God, how does that sound? These are men that have rested everything on God. They are not controlled by their situations. They understood that in the presence of God, there is bountiful of joy. Even when it seems all is bad devoured of joy, they brought in their perspective of joy. What’s the source of your joy? They did it wholeheartedly. I know so because God responded mightily- God only moves to the true intent of the heart.

These men responded like this because they only live for God wholeheartedly. Many of us can sing that we surrender all, we can even act like we did but let it be known to you that God only respond to a righteously sincere intent of the heart. God likes to hear you say you surrender all to Him but He is moved when you live it wholeheartedly. Friends, if we can surrender it all truly, we will not be bordered by situations or lack around us; they won’t have any power to influence your joy because your security will not be those things but in God. He already made a promise in Matthew 6:33 and thats what played out in Paul and Silas experience. They took their freedom but God restored it supernaturally. God says if you seek my kingdom, I will give you all that men die for. I think that is a wise decision to make. You don’t need to die or live for money, fame, power, freedom, leadership etc. Just live for God wholeheartedly and you will have all that men die to have. God bless you make your decision

SIX BASIC FEARS

I was searching through my library and I saw something which I think its worth sharing. I look through some pieces of paper in a file and I found some headings and the topic above happened to be one those headings.
Although I couldn’t remember where I came across these writings but its worth sharing just in case you are being troubled by any. It is pertinent for me to emphasize the fact that this article is not written to energize your fear but to transform it to positive impact in your life. That’s why I’m writing about the list of fears.
Fear of Poverty
Robert Kiyosaki, a millionaire and financial intelligence expert said he worked hard and learn about money because of his fear for poverty. You could do the same. Don’t follow the trend of those who committed crimes or ritual to become rich because of fear of poverty.
Fear of Criticism
A lot of people stop trying because of fear of being criticized but you must remember that whether you do good or bad, fail or succeed, you will be criticized. Note that some level of criticism is needed to attain perfection. Each time you are criticized, just take it as a feedback on something you need to work on to improve yourself.
Fear of Old age
This simply means that you should live your life to its fullest for something. Stand for something so that when that old age comes, you can be able to look back at the legacy you are leaving for the generations to come. Try as much as possible to accomplish much, fulfill your dreams.
Fear of ill health
My advice is that you stay healthy. Eat good food, take time to rest, find time for work out and watch what goes into your mouth.
Fear of loss of love of someone
Just be a good person to that person. Make sure you don’t hurt that person in anyway. Understand his/her likes and dislikes.
Fear of death
Whether you fear death or not its a destination we all have in common. We are certain about our death but the form it will take is what we don’t know and the time. Late steve Jobs said he often used death to judge his actions by asking himself a question when he is about to make a major decision, “if this were to be my last decision, will still want to make it” According to him if the answer remain no repeated, it means he needs to watch his objectives. You can do the same.
